You must have visited Google and seen those sponsored advertisements on the upper portion of the page or at the right side. These are your PPC or Pay Per Click advertisements. The non-sponsored websites that are listed at the search result page for a keyword are the organic search engine positions and there is a basic difference between the two. An organic listing at the search engine whether it is in Google, Yahoo or MSN (Bing) is free, but to get listed in the PPC section, you will have to pay money. However, do keep in mind that there is no cost for just the display of your advertisement - you have to pay only when a visitor clicks on your advertisement.

Advantages Of Pay Per Click Advertising

The fact is, the competition is huge to achieve a page 1 rank for popular keywords in the organic listing. The website needs to employ search engine optimization strategies to have any chance of achieving these ranks. However even with SEO, sometimes a website will never get up there, and sometimes it can take a lot of time. Often web businesses cannot spend so much time waiting for the ranks and the subsequent traffic. So they turn to PPC advertising.

Pay per click advertising or PPC is a great way to generate Internet traffic almost immediately. All you have to do is sign up to open an account, decide on the keywords for which you want to advertise, decide the bid value for each keyword, create the advertisement groups, write the advertisement texts and activate the campaign, and your website can begin to receive traffic almost immediately. So this gives quick results.

All major search engines have a PPC program and the most famous ones are Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN adCenter. Of course like the organic results, usually the most PPC traffic too comes from the program of Google.

Problems Of Pay Per Click Advertising

However not everything is extremely rosy about PPC advertising and most of the problems arise out of the cost factor. Unlike the organic results, in PPC, you have to pay for each visitor who arrives at your website, and if you are not monitoring your campaign closely, then you could be leaking money. Of course while you are setting up the campaign, you have to decide on a daily budget that you want to spend. So decide on a daily budget that you are comfortable with.

For example if your daily budget is 50.00, then you would be spending 1500,00 in a month. And if you are buying clicks at .50 cents, then you would receive 3000 visitors in a month. If you want to receive more than 3000 visitors in a month, you have to spend more than this.

Of course it is never this simple because some keywords will cost more than .50 cents and some less. So your advertisement will be displayed as long as your daily budget of 50 is not extinguished, and once you have received 50 worth of clicks on a day, the advertisement will stop being displayed.

The problem can arise if your landing page is not converting. If it isn't converting that well, then you could be wasting money in PPC. It might be a good idea to work on your landing page and try different things to see whether the conversions go up or not. Often some advertisement copies will not work and often some keywords will get you the traffic, but they will not convert. So when you are running a pay per click advertising, you must always monitor the campaign closely and take corrective action quickly.

One of the fastest strategies to use for increasing the hits to your web site is to integrate a Pay Per Click / PPC campaign into your advertising budget. The most popular internet advertising service available is Google Adwords. However, you can also look into running ads through Yahoo, Bing or even social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace. I would start with one to begin with and once you have a firm grasp of a successful campaign - then set up another campaign with another provider.

The first thing you will need to do is determine your online advertising budget. A simple way to do this without much thought is to take 20% of what you expect to earn and apply that to your PPC campaign. This can seem quite pricey at first - because if you want to sell a $1,000 product or service - you should expect to pay at least $200 per month in online advertising for that one product or service. This is actually a minimum amount. You should be closer to a daily budget of at least $20 - which is closer to what you should be spending, but also 60% of one sale. As long as you at least break even, you will be able to learn the best process to use to produce the maximum results.

It isn't enough to just throw up a lot of ads on the internet and hope to capture some sales. You need to attract the right kind of people (people most likely to buy your product or service) and this requires designing the right type of ad and targeting the right type of market. This process is called Pay Per Click Management.

If for example you are running a tour in Thailand, you might want to organize your ads to show up only to relevant countries most likely to have customers showing an interest in traveling to that country. A little research will tell you that more people travel to Thailand from Europe than they do from the United States. So, instead of wasting a lot of money on ads targeting people less likely to use your service or buy your product, it is better to focus on improving your Pay Per Click Management strategy.

This includes not only having your ad target the right people, but also that you provide the right keywords in your ads to ensure you narrow down your viewers to only those most likely to purchase. Your ad should be as specific as possible. Consider these revisions which start at a generic keyword and work towards a niche: Travel -> Travel in Thailand -> Vacation on an island in Thailand -> Samui Island Thailand Vacation. Travel is just too broad - so the more specific you get the more likely you are going to have customers that are looking for your product or service. If you don't get specific, you will be paying every time someone clicks on your ad only to have them realize it isn't what they really want. So, to save money - make sure the people that click are the people that want to buy. Don't waste money trying to convince them to buy.

This will still require a lot of testing and you should expect to test and try a variety of ads each with different keywords and benefits. Then, at the end of every month you can cut the fat and focus on the ads that produce the most results. Expect to invest at least 3 months in Pay Per Click Management to truly get a good idea of what works and what doesn't.

PPC is a mode where the advertiser pays the service provider for the clicks made by various visitors on links to his website. In other words, depending on the number of visitors to the website, the payment is made to the service provider. So, the advertiser has to ensure that each click generates some business and it should not be a casual click. This calls for a regulatory mechanism so that only genuine clicks to the website are allowed.

What determines the click?
All clicks to the website should not be construed to be a genuine click. One of the driving reasons causing a person to visit the website is the keywords used in the site. So, it is essential that right keywords should be used so that through a mere reading, the visitor must be able to make out whether the information that he is looking for is available in the particular site or not. To regulate the visitors, the terms should be as clear and crisp as possible. It should be direct and in lucid language. If the advertisement is aimed at a particular group or class of people, then that should be clearly mentioned. This can be achieved by including a proper search term in the advertisement. A well-laid out FAQ with clear cut answers or clarifications will be an added advantage. By following these methods, the visitors will very clearly know what they get from the website. So, casual or fake visitors can be avoided.

Cost:
Many PPC engines allow the advertiser to set the maximum limit for clicks to the website. By this method, the cost can be reduced. Do not bid on keywords and if need be, suitably alter the keywords so that it would result in savings. Before bidding for PPC, consult those who have already had business with the service provider and take their opinion before bidding.

Use the search engines:
To have effective PPC, the search engines should be utilized properly. Most of the search engines have provided for proper monitoring of PPC. These mechanisms should be used. The success of PPC depends on how effectively it is monitored.

Small search engines:
Some of the new advertisers try the effectiveness of the advertisement on small search engines. They argue that if there is good response to the website, then it could be rolled on to more popular search engines. But, certainly this is not the right approach. The reasons for this being that the small search engines are rarely visited and that cannot be taken as the bench mark to assess the effectiveness. On the other hand, those small search engines may not have effective Search Engine marketing software and an effective crawling system to improve the quality of their rankings. Therefore, it is always advisable that it should be tried on reputed search engines. The best alternative is to try it out for a reasonable period of time and during this period, monitor the PPC activity. That will give a clear understanding of the effectiveness of the website.

A new breakthrough secret is all you now need in order to get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks FREE!

A gentleman from New York discovered what he calls an "oversight" on the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get otherwise paid-for advertising at Google as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.

And no, nothing about his "secret" is illegal - nor does it require that you know someone on the "inside" at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.

Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly "...this is something that I caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first ... but which I later expanded on after getting the hang of it."

This same fellow went on to start and operate sixteen separate online companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children's toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses - all the while applying his mastermind secret.

Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses "I've actually gotten over $87 million in advertising that using my secret I never had to pay for ... and the largest share of which was more recently in Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of pad advertising at search engines ... all of which I got for free ..."

So powerful is his secret that he's able to monopolize any niche online, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.

He still has to set up an account with the search engines - but after applying his secret he is removed from having to pay for all the costs otherwise involved.
Again, nothing about his secret is either illegal or robs from the search engines.
One spokesperson from one of the most popular search engines said chuckling after being made privy to this amazing secret "Wow! Ha! This is really unique ... and in my expert opinion it would only serve to enhance and bring more business to us at [name of search engine withheld for legal & confidentiality reasons] and not cause us to lose business in the slightest. Amazing!"

The northerner revealed that in this nearly eight years' period of time since applying his secret he's done well over $300 million in sales revenue with a most diverse line of products, and most recently in the last two years netted nearly $166 million after really "buckling down and pressing my secret to its fullest potential."

Now to everyone else's fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he's not promising any of us for how long.

A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says "We'll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things."

One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret "he's already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it's still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this."

It is currently available at:

http://rosevale.freegoogle.hop.clickbank.net

...so you may want to head on over there now and get it.

It's in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level.

While you're there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in targeted advertising now made freely available to the rest of us?

To your success,
